Eligibility for TGPSC MPSO / ASO 2026
🎓 Qualification
A bachelor’s degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects, or a bachelor’s degree with Mathematics, Economics, Commerce or Computer Science as a main subject and Statistics as a paper in at least one year. The qualifying result must have been declared by October 28, 2026.
🎂 Age Limit
18 to 44 years as of July 1, 2026, for the unreserved category. Relaxation: 5 years for SC, ST, BC and EWS; 10 years for Persons with Disabilities; and other relaxations as specified in the notification for Telangana State Government employees, ex-servicemen and NCC instructors.
Pay scale: Rs. 36,750 to Rs. 1,06,990. One Time Registration (OTR) alone is not an application — a separate application for Notification No. 07/G/ES/2026 is required.

Selection Process and Exam Pattern
1. Online Application
Apply on tgpsc.gov.in from October 30 to November 27, 2026, 5:00 PM, for Notification No. 07/G/ES/2026.
2. Written Examination (Objective Type)
Paper I: General Studies and General Abilities — 150 questions, 150 marks, 150 minutes. Paper II: Statistics at degree level — 150 questions, 150 marks, 150 minutes. Total: 300 marks. Medium: English and Telugu.
3. Document Verification and Allotment
Verification of original documents, followed by merit-based allotment. Minimum qualifying marks: 40% for OC, EWS and meritorious sportspersons; 35% for BC; 30% for SC, ST and PwD candidates.
