Eligibility for UPSSSC Inter Level Recruitment 2026

Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognised board for all posts. Social Welfare Supervisor, Gram Vikas Adhikari (Social Welfare) and Gram Panchayat Adhikari also need a CCC computer certificate from NIELIT or an equivalent certificate recognised by the Government. Farm Clerk needs at least 3 years of experience in agricultural operations plus a working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari, and Salesman needs at least 3 years of sales experience in a firm or a government department plus Hindi in Devanagari. The required qualification and certificates must be held on December 1, 2026.
🎓 PET-2025 Scorecard Is Compulsory
Only candidates who appeared in the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test 2025 (PET-2025) and hold a valid scorecard can apply. Selection Process and Exam Pattern
1. Shortlisting on PET-2025 Score
Candidates are called for the Main examination on the merit of their PET-2025 normalised score, up to 15 times the number of posts in each category, plus all candidates tied at the cut-off score. Candidates with a zero or negative PET-2025 score are not called.
2. Main Written Examination
One paper of 100 objective questions carrying 100 marks, in 2 hours. Each wrong answer costs one-fourth of the marks for that question. The paper has three parts: Part 1 with 65 questions on History, Polity, Geography, Economy, Rural Society, Current Events, Science and Technology, Environment and Disaster Management, Data Interpretation and General Hindi; Part 2 with 15 questions on Computer and Information Technology; and Part 3 with 20 questions on General Information related to Uttar Pradesh.
3. Document Verification
Candidates qualifying in the Main written examination are called for record verification, with post preference. Original documents, including the PET-2025 scorecard, qualification certificates, CCC certificate where needed, caste and EWS certificates and the High School certificate for date of birth, are checked at this stage.
4. Final Selection
There is no interview. Final selection is based on the Main written examination and successful document verification, against the vacancies and as per the category-wise reservation rules.
