Subjects: Professional Ability 50 questions, General Awareness 15, General Intelligence and Reasoning 15, Mathematics 10 and General Science 10. Minimum qualifying marks: UR and EWS 40%, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and SC 30%, ST 25%. A relaxation of two marks may be allowed for PwBD candidates where a shortage exists against reserved PwBD vacancies, as prescribed.
2. Translation Test (Junior Translator (Hindi) only)
Junior Translator (Hindi) candidates shortlisted from the CBT must qualify in a translation test. The CBT for this post assesses Hindi and English language proficiency, with at least 50% of the questions on language (about 20% English and 30% Hindi), and the remaining questions cover general knowledge, general intelligence, simple arithmetic and basic computer knowledge. Candidates are generally shortlisted for the translation test at 10 times the number of vacancies, the test is qualifying with a minimum pass mark of 60%, and final merit is based on CBT marks alone.
3. Document Verification
Candidates are shortlisted 1:1 on the basis of CBT merit, translation test results where applicable, vacancy availability and reservation rules. Original documents, including qualification certificates, experience certificates, community certificates and identity proof, are checked at this stage.
4. Medical Examination and Final Empanelment
Candidates must meet the medical standards applicable to the selected post (B1, C1 or C2 as given above). Final empanelment is subject to merit, qualifications, medical fitness and successful verification.
